Hey there, I'm DJ Valentine (known on Twitch as Frenaya Valentine) and I'm a DJ in the world of Final Fantasy XIV

I am 28 years old, was born in Germany and still live there. I found my way to music at the age of 14, although I came into contact with music quite often as a toddler. But at 14, I started to try out and test pretty much everything that had to do with programmes and DJ stuff.

I played with Virtual DJ, mobile apps and Rekordbox from Pioneer. Since I turned 18, I started taking DJing more seriously and got a lot more involved with it. I got my first DJ controller (I have no idea which one it was) when I turned 20, but it didn't survive a move to a new apartment in one piece, which is why I started working only with programmes again.

A year ago, I got my hands on a DDJ 400 and since then I've been playing live on it as well. A promise to a very important person to me sealed the decision to continue as a DJ. In January 2024, I then joined the management Endeavor Promotions, where I was first tested and then accepted. (At this point, thanks to Ronin and Fellaris) Fellaris himself asked me one day if I would also like to be a manager and I initially declined. Nevertheless, I later returned to the offer and accepted it. Since then, I have been in contact with Fellaris and the others a lot, playing with our management lead project Zomboid or just watching his streams. His opinion means a lot to me. He is... I would say something of an idol.

I also became the personal manager for DJ Shizura and DJ Shiva Maloon, which I am very proud of, because it was definitely not an easy road to get to where I am now.

Of course, a big thank you also goes out to you who watch me every time I'm live or just hang out with me. Thanks to you, I have been able to achieve a great many goals.I prefer not to really plan any of my sets, everything I play is based on my mood and NOT pre-planned. Maybe that's one of the reasons why my sets are unique and can't be copied. I love DJing, I love music and I love turning my hobby into more and more work.

My favourite genres include trance and its subgenres, big room and main stage, as well as DnB. I started out 3 years ago in Final Fantasy with rock and metal, but I got bored of it because I felt like I was playing some of it for the 100th time, so I broadened my horizons with some EDM genres.

Today I am the one you see on Twitch, the one who has countless nicknames, of which ONE in particular has stuck, namely Lostnaya Valentine. I don't know when I'll show my face in the streams because I have quite a few self-confidence issues, so for now you'll have to be satisfied with my hands.

Nevertheless, I'm a pretty open person and don't really make a secret out of much, unless it's about my private family life
